Vegas Conventions need to be tackled in an organized fashion. Usually you cannot attend all of the seminars and you also cannot visit all of the vender booths during the conference, especially the large ones in Las Vegas. Most conference goers develop a plan of attack to ensure that they get the most out of the conference. There are two things you need. The first is a map of the conference venue and which venders you want to meet with. If you cannot set up meetings in advance, make sure you get to visit your priority list of venders while you are in Vegas. The same goes for the seminars. Review all of the seminars and decide which ones are must attends based on the topic and the speakers. Sometimes a bad speaker in a good topic just does not cut it.

If you plan to go to a lot of conferences and you want your company to pay for your expenses, it is important to do a really good trip report. This is important regardless of whether you attend a Vegas convention or some other city. A well written trip report with key learning's which will benefit the company, will demonstrate to your management that it was money well spent for your trip to a convention in Las Vegas.
