General Description

The Sahara Hotel and Casino is located on the north end of the strip past the Las Vegas Fashion mall and Steve Wynn's new hotel. Now that Wynn's hotel is completed, it connects the Sahara Hotel and Casino with the rest of the Las Vegas Strip. The Sahara Hotel and Casino is also close to the Riviera and Circus Circus. This hotel and casino complex has been awarded a rating of 7.30 out of a maximum of 10.

The Sahara Hotel and Casino has over 1700 rooms, a large casino with the usual compliment of slots, table games and sports book for your entertainment. In addition, there are six restaurants, one 5000 square foot pool and a Jacuzzi. There also is a spa, wedding chapel and the rooms come with data ports for a fee at the Sahara Hotel and Casino. Tourists can also connect with the other hotels on the strip via the Las Vegas Monorail.

The Sahara Hotel and Casino is one of the older hotels and dates back to the time when the rat pack and other famous stars began their shows at the Stardust. Room rates are competitive as are comps and free shows.
