Convention attendees can stay at the Las Vegas Hilton
Hotel and attend the conferences that are held at the Las Vegas Hilton convention center, however you will still have a lot of walking so be prepared with good walking shoes. In addition, the hotel is located off the strip and you will need a taxi, if you plan to go to one of the strip hotels for dinner or some other function. Some people walk, however it will take 20 minutes to get to the strip and then you are still at least another 20 minutes to the main hotels.
Walking is safe and it is good exercise, however always have water with you, especially in the hot summer months. Dehydration sets in very rapidly leaving people feeling sick to their stomachs and sometimes dizzy. Always carry water with you whether you stay at the Las Vegas Hilton Convention Center or some other hotel.
