The Las Vegas Hilton convention center is attached to the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino . The convention center is also across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center or LVCVA and combined provide the largest convention facilities in Las Vegas and virtually anywhere in north America. The Sands Expo and the Venetian hotel also have large adjacent convention facilities. The Hilton convention center is set up to handle almost any type of conference and is equipped with all of the latest power requirements and communication requirements that most exhibitors may need.

Convention attendees can stay at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino and attend the conferences that are held at the Las Vegas Hilton convention center, however you will still have a lot of walking so be prepared with good walking shoes. In addition, the hotel is located off the strip and you will need a taxi, if you plan to go to one of the strip hotels for dinner or some other function. Some people walk, however it will take 20 minutes to get to the strip and then you are still at least another 20 minutes to the main hotels.
Walking is safe and it is good exercise, however always have water with you, especially in the hot summer months. Dehydration sets in very rapidly leaving people feeling sick to their stomachs and sometimes dizzy. Always carry water with you whether you stay at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino or some other hotel while visiting the Las Vegas Hilton convention. Las Vegas has also recently added the new monorail system which runs from the convention hotel to the southern hotels on the strip.
