There are a couple of advantages for having a Las Vegas convention show included in your convention registration. Most people would not necessarily spend the money to go to one of the shows. It is included in your registration and therefore you can include the cost in your expenses as well it is tax deductible in most countries. Attending a show separately is usually not tax deductible and most companies frown on including show tickets in your expense account unless you happen to be entertaining a big client.

There is also another little known fact about attending conventions. Some will include meals and entertainment in the price of registration. If you consider the cost of all of the meals etc, you may find that the cost of paying separately will be more expensive than paying for the convention fee's. It is not the case for every Las Vegas convention show, however in a few cases you will find this to be true. Do the math and make your own decision about which ones you want to attend.
