If you are attending a Las Vegas convention show event you are usually in for a treat since many companies that are large enough to use space at the Las Vegas convention center want to put on a great show with excellent entertainment. There are a number of things you can do to ensure that your evening is enjoyable and you get the most out of it. For example, you will have to often do a lot of walking even if you are dropped off at the main entrance. This facility is so large that you may still walk half a mile just to get from the main entrance to the location were your show is being held. Comfortable shoes are a must.

Many Las Vegas convention center shows are also sponsored by companies, so tickets may be free or cost very little. Five course meals are common and it is always amazing to me how well the convention center presents the meal to a thousand people with everyone being served in a relatively short time with a hot meal. Always try to get a good seat close to the entertainment unless of course the seats are pre-assigned. You can also expect a small token or gift to be provided by one or more of the sponsors of some of these shows. Some will be interesting and quite valuable, while others fall into the trinket category and will be discarded the moment you get home.
These Las Vegas convention center shows and entertainment events are always fun so if you get a chance to attend one through an invitation or if it is part of the convention you are attending always make sure that you take it in. One year a cocktail party at the MGM Grand was organized around the pool area and we decided to go to it at the last minute. Well it was one of the best we have ever gone to. Between the seafood buffet, the entertainment and the setting it was absolutely fabulous!
