Las Vegas Strip Hotels

There are only really two places to stay when you go to Las Vegas. Tourists can stay at any of the Las Vegas Strip Hotels or they can stay downtown to enjoy all of the activities that Las Vegas has to offer downtown and be able to walk to just about everything. If you are staying at the Las Vegas Strip Hotels, you also want to stay in the centre of the strip to really enjoy all of the hotels. The Las Vegas Strip Hotels are large, with many over 3000 rooms and you already have to walk far enough without having to walk more to get to your favourite hotel. Treasure Island and Wynn's new hotel are the northern boundaries of the Las Vegas Strip Hotels and the MGM Grand and New York, New York are the southern boundaries. There are other Las Vegas Strip Hotels on either end that are beyond these hotels which are nice to stay at, however you are just getting too far away from the main action that the larger modern hotels such as Bellagio, Paris, Venetian, Mirage and many others have to offer for the Las Vegas Strip Hotels.

Las Vegas has recently installed a new monorail which you can take the full length of the strip and there are monorails between some of the Las Vegas Strip Hotels. For example you can travel from the Excalibur to the Luxor and the Mandalay Bay hotel on a free mono rail that they provide. The Las Vegas mono rail is a pay as you go and rides cost approximately $3.00 to ride it between the Las Vegas Strip Hotels.

There is so much action along the strip with free shows and entertainment, that tourists should stay along the strip in one of the Las Vegas Strip Hotels rather than moving to one of the hotels that are off the strip. Some of them do have shuttles that will take you back and forth to the strip, however we think it is just better to be on the strip.
