General Description

The Hotel Las MGM Vegas or The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino as it is officially called is another one of the beautiful and elegant hotels in Las Vegas. Hotel Las MGM Vegas is also the largest with over 5000 rooms available, 3000 slots and seven pools! As you enter the hotel from the strip you enter directly into the casino area. The casino seems to run on and on. This is one of the casinos were I actually was lost for some time.

The Hotel Las MGM Vegas provides excellent service and is a full service hotel with all of the services that anyone could require. These include of course the casino, restaurants, fine dining, coffee shops, gorgeous pools with a 1000 foot river to float along, shops, conference facilities, and ample parking. With the exception of the casino, the hotel is marble throughout. There is an indoor street area at the rear of the hotel with many shops and eating areas from fine dining to fast food.

If you are just passing through the Hotel Las MGM Vegas, you will want to take a moment to see the following areas of the hotel. Some are fun and the kids will enjoy them as well. Vacationers can also catch the tram at the rear of the hotel.

What We Liked

This is a must see hotel. There are so many areas that we cannot mention them all, so here are just a couple of the outstanding areas at the Hotel Las MGM Vegas.

Jungle Restaurant
Street of shops
Pool area
MGM show viewing area
Navigation signs throughout the casino

What We Don't Like

These are some of the items or areas that we did not like about the Hotel Las MGM Vegas & casino.

It is just so big, it is a long hike to just about anywhere
1st impression from the strip is not as stupendous as some of the other hotels
Pool area is not close to the elevators
