Entertainment Las Vegas January

Entertainment in Las Vegas during January is one of the best months for seeing shows. Some of the largest conventions take place in Las Vegas at this time and all of the hotels and casinos usually line up their best stars and venues for all of the convention attendees. Some conventions will book their own entertainment as well either for specific companies or for part of the convention opening. These stars are keyed up and aim to provide excellent entertainment. Of course there is no other place than Vegas in January to see top of the line entertainment.

Vegas knows that the way to get you into their hotels and into their casinos is to provide enticements of many kinds. For some people it is a special slot machine, while for others it is a one of kind 5 star restaurant, while for others it is a particular show that they want to see. What ever brings you to one of the casinos, they know that in addition to viewing the entertainment, you are also likely to drop a few dollars or more into a slot machine or visit one of the tables to try your luck.

Once you enter the hotel, most tourists will find that they must work their way through the casino to get to the entertainment show they wish to see. This is done on purpose, to get you looking at and thinking about doing some gambling on the many slot machines in their casino. For some it is pretty hard to resist especially when you need to line up past slot machine after slot machine.

Entertainment in January, in Las Vegas, also depends on the weather. There are shows that are outside and are free to anyone walking along the strip. The pirate show at Treasure Island, the volcano eruption at the Mirage, and the water fountains at the Bellagio, are all free shows for tourists to view, however if the winds are too strong, these shows will be cancelled. If you are in Las Vegas during January for a few days, try to catch all of this free entertainment as well.
