The convention February Las Vegas 2007 schedule is usually quite full with many conferences and conventions being held in the month of February. If February, 2006 is any indication, 2007 will be even busier. February 2006 schedules showed that there were at least 77 conferences or conventions held in Las Vegas at various convention facilities around the city. They range in size from the very large to the very small. For example, Healthinsight was held at the Palms Hotel & casino and attracted a total of 53 registered people attending the conference. It was a 2 day confernce at the beginning of February 2005.
The largest convention held in February of 2006 was the Magic Marketplace held at the Las Vegas convention center, with over 90,000 people attending. The magic marketplace was held from Feb 14th to Feb 17th and almost every hotel room was taken. The Magic marketplace is a clothing convention attracting people from all over the world. This is a busy time in Las Vegas so it is important to be organized and book early for your flights and hotel rooms to avoid expensive rooms and long walks to the convention. Registration for the convention you are attending can be done anytime, although it is better to register early to avoid the last minute rush and usually there are discounts available for early registrations. In addition you do not need to stand in such long lines if you have completed all of your registration ahead of time and received everything in the mail.
