No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker

Most online casinos offer three different types on Texas Hold'emPoker, namely No Limit Texas Holdem poker , Limit holdemPoker and Pot Limit holdem poker.

The only differences in these three types of poker are therestrictions placed on betting.

In No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker there are no limitationson the size of the bets placed. With Limit holdem poker, if thelimit is set to $10 you can only raise your bets by $10 at atime. While with Pot limit holdem poker, bets are limited to thecurrent pot size, which means that the betting can increaseafter every round as the pot grows bigger.

Although the betting structure is the only difference betweenthe games, the strategies used for these games are totallydifferent. In No Limit Poker the risks are higher but so are therewards, because you could choose to go “All-in” at any stage ofthe game.

New players normally stick to limit or pot limit games, whilethe more experienced players are often found in the No Limitpoker rooms. The reason for this is because, a skilled playercan


 

use many more tricks to outplay a novice.
