Laughlin,
Nevada is at the southern most tip of Nevada, right
on the Colorado River. There are a total of twelve
casino hotels located along casino drive and just
down the road from the actual town of Laughlin, Nevada.
Across the river from Laughlin, is the town of Bullhead,
Arizona. We have profiled 9 of the casinos on this
web site, providing a short summary and a list of
likes and dislikes for your information.
The
picture below on the left is of the Flamingo Hotel
now renamed the Aquarious hotel
and casino. A lot of money has been spent on the
Aquarious hotel to upgrade the casino as well as the
rooms. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
There
is also a boardwalk / walkway along the rive that
takes you past all of the hotels a portion of which
is shown on the right.

We
have shown a number of the hotels along the Colorado
River which separates the states of Arizona and Nevada.
There are many things to do in Laughlin in addition
to visiting the casinos located along the river.
There are water taxis that can take you for a ride
from one casino to the other for a small fee of $4.
There are jet skis that can be rented and vacationers
can also take water tours up to the dam and all the
way to the London Bridge. In addition you can walk
along the river on an elevated walkway to all of
the hotels except for the Ramada
Express which is
located across the street on Casino Drive. Harrah's also cannot be reached by the River walk due to a
large cliff that gets in the way.

Lauglin was little more than a bait shop on the Colorado River up to 1970. Now it is a gambling mecca with many large hotels and casinos in the middle of the desert on the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy a number of activities in Laughlin and around the immediate area including: Golf, kayaking, canoeing, bowling, land tours, river cruises, and water craft rentals.

This is another shot of the Aquarious hotel and the Golden Nugget just
beside it. The River walk runs along all of the hotels
except for the Ramada Express and Harrah's.

Harrah's is at the far south end of the casino drive and the picture beside it is the Pioneer hotel
and casino. Harrah's also has a beach which sunbathers
can use.

The Ramadan Express is located across the street and is the only hotel that is not on the water. The picture beside it is the River Palms hotel and casino.
The Last hotel heading north towards the dam is the Riverside Hotel and Casino.
