Las Vegas Hotel Conventions
Every year there are hundreds of Las Vegas Hotel Conventions that take place in Las Vegas . Some Las Vegas Hotel Conventions attract as many as 100,000 people such as the NAB, "National Association of Broadcasters". Other Las Vegas Hotel Conventions are small attracting only 100 people for a weekend. Whatever the size, it is an opportunity for people to do a little business, have a little fun, see a show and have a good meal. Most people attending conventions do not gamble too much. So the convention trade is an opportunity for the Casinos and Hotels to really cater to people in terms of great food and entertainment!
If you are planning to attend one of the Las Vegas Hotel Conventions or just visit the city during a major convention, it is important to make your reservations early. Rooms at the hotels fill up quickly and the hotels tend to raise the room rates when they know a lot of people will be in town. One hotel was a near capacity and was charging up to $500 per room per night during a major convention. They sold out at these rates. Even people, who received casino rate, found that the normally low casino rate was raised by more than $100.
The very next week when business was slow, room rates were lowered to $79 per night. This is a huge difference. So book early and confirm what conventions are in town that may effect your vacation.
