Please note that due to the Hurricane Katrina, the Biloxi hotels and casinos in Biloxi are out of commission as of Aug 29, 2005. Our hearts and prayers go out to the many people that have been effected in Biloxi and the surrounding areas. Please review the letter received from the Beau Rivage in Nov 2005 concerning the devastation and recovery.

As of Aug 29th, 2006, many hotels and casinos are now re-opening including the Beau Rivage and several others. You will want to check their web sites or call them to confirm their exact status.

We just returned from a trip to Biloxi, were we stayed at the Beau Rivage. It is now fully open and in our opinion better than it was before. Everything has been upgraded and the most significant difference is the service. Rebuilding the tourist trade to this ravaged area is tough, however the people at the Beau Rivage have got it right - Great Service to Every Customer! We were very impressed and recommend that you should go to the Beau Rivage for your next vacation!

Biloxi is a gem hidden away on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico in the state of Mississippi! There are approximately ten hotels, casinos in Biloxi, Mississippi and many more motels along the gulf coast. There is almost 21 miles of white sandy beach. Unlike Las Vegas casinos, the casinos in Biloxi are more spread out. If you plan to visit all of the casinos, you will need a car or take a taxi to get from one hotel to another. if you like walking, the Isle of Capri, Casino Magic, the Grand Casino and the Palace Casino are all within reasonable walking distance. Some of the hotels provide a shuttle service that you can take from one casino to another.

There are two other casinos several miles west along the beach called the Treasure Bay Casino Resort and the President Casino Broadwater Resort. There are many small motels that visitors can also stay at including the various chain motels and hotels. In addition there are other casinos and hotels in Gulfport a few miles west of Biloxi, however we have not been able to visit these hotels. Biloxi offers golf, fishing, swamp tours, jet skiing, parasailing, browse art galleries, view antiques, visit the Jefferson Davis home and Presidential Library and much more.
