If you do a lot of gambling at the slots, your card will track how much you gambled and how much time you spent at the slots. The casinos have a complicated calculation that they use to help them decide how many comps you will be entitled to. If you do a lot, it can be well worth your while to have a slot card. You find that the next time you come to Las Vegas, the hotel will comp you for free rooms and meals!
